above the trees, she saw smoke rising. zapada raced to them, still being carefu. she saw a few smaller houses, and a road that led straight to the villiage. "Diomand! I think i found something!" she called mentally to her, "It's a little town, there's a few houses."

Diamond turned around and flew towards Zapada.

"daniel!" zapada forgot that she was a dragon for a moment, careful not to loose her head again, landed by her friend

Zapada thought he wasn't changed that much, but there were differences. He was not a boy any more, his face was longer, voice huskier. Taller, maybeand stronger: more mature.His curious expression was the same though, and Zapada could see that so was his heart.

Daniel'sjaw unclenched and he looked reliefed "That is my son, Zackary."

Zapada smiled, she knew it. she looked at Diomand with a i-so-told-you-so smile

Diamond smiled. "Good." she said happily, "You must explain it to him. He looked like he didn't get who we were."
