Zapada caught the tone and said "biologically?"

"he is no son of mine. until he changes his ways that is" he nearly spat it out

Diamond was a little taken back. "What do you mean? what has he done?" she said remembering the arrow that had hit her beloved mate.

Daniel rubbed his temples. "lets just say that he doesn't agree with me and my views. To put it simply he has 'gone to the dark side'" he used quotation marks around the phrase, "He also doesn't agree to the fair treatment of creatures, such as yourselves." he then became angry "He hurt is own mother in more ways than one.."

Zapada was taken aback and, for once, wished that she didn't have huge clawed arms so she could comfort him. Instead she kind of hugged him with her wings.

Zapada was curious, but she didn't want to press it.

Daniel sensed it," i'll tell you all about it"he said "but not here, not now. Meet me later, about a mile into the forest." he said goodbye without looking like he was hugging air, then he walked off to the others.

"i think it's dangerous if he is our enemy and can see us... but if he is Daniel's child, he can't be all bad.." she was unsure

Zapada drank. The water was cool, so she wlked in. "c'mon, a little fun can't hurt." she went underwater, she could see everything, and hold her breath.
