She sat to groom her pelt in the sun.

she changed direction to go to her den, she needed the rest...

Her pelt was clean and glimmering. She layed her head on her paws to take a nap.

In her den, she quickly layed down and began to drift off.. There was something wrong though.. she should get up, check on things.. too tired to move.. what? she only wanted a nap, she wasn't even that tired...

Mysty woke up 40 minutes later. She thought Accalia would be awake. She went into Accalia's den. "Accalia?" she called.

Accalia was whimpering and rolling around,she was getting a vision.This was how it was, falling asleep but still awake and away. "vision!" she yelped helplessly "keep everone out"

Mysty nodded. "Stay away from us please." She spoke thick with athourity to the others. Then she sat were she was waiting for it to end. She hated seeing her friend go through this.

suddenly there was a giant pine tree, bigger than she had ever seen before. it grew and grew and grew, untill it exploded.. and so did her vision.


she woke up panting, and thirsty. she drank water but she was still thirsty. it wouldn't go away

"What happened?" She asked anxiously.

she retold the entire thing not missing a beat. then she trembled, it was all too much.

Mysty stood frozen. She turned and practically ran to the looking pool. She looked in and murmmered a few words then an image appeared. It was of her ancestors.

Accalia layed down, now wanting to be bothered for 100 years

"The ways of the old!" she said after she told them the vision. "we haven't changed, really anything." She said as she sat in front of the pool.

"There is one thing..." murmmered a old grey wolf with dim golden eyes. The others looked at her.

"I know. " Mysty said, "An Alpha male." she said. "But surely thats not the problem. I mean River didn't have one at her side. She had already had me. My father had died, so..." she was puzzled.
