They ran in silence then Faye said "tell me more about you" she was very curious

"I love the outdoors, as I'm sure you can tell. Cats tend to like me although I don't really know why. I understand them." she said and smiled briefly at Dusk.

Ari nodded thinking about it. "I once found a kitten." she said remembering the tiny tabby. "It had an injured leg. He seemed to thank me before going back to the woods. It was like he sought me out." she said remembering the knowing of his eyes.

Faye tried not to show her complete and total understanding. "what did he look like?" she inquired. She found her happy place and tried not to get mad at the animals who almost ruined Ari's life. She would need to have a talk with them, and Dusk...

"He was a tabby, he was grey and had black stripes. His eyes were a mossy green." she smiled.

They were in the woods, a little ways from the camp. Faye quickly shanged direction. Soon they were in her favorite clearing. She walked into the middle and sat down.

Ari smiled as the light sun that filled the clearing. She sat near the middle but something in her gut told her not to sit in the middle.
