~Woodland Hide Away~ Were magic does exist

there was a loud splashing and snapping of twigs. Erlina heard Adam say "dude, they're helping us out. look we got medicine" then another voice who must have been Nate say "what? but they., who are they?" Adam didn't get a chance to answer. more splashing and a blonde haired man now stood in front of them. "i'm Erlina" she said "nice to meet you, i'm very sorry about you mother" the response was two words "Nate, thanks" V. still hadn't picked her head up..

V looked up. She looked at him and was lost for a moment. "I'm Virginia." she smiled. "V for short. Sorry about your mother." she said.

V gave him her hand and followed him and was in a sense of aww. The world seemed to halt and last around one person, Nate. She didn't want to leave his side, not now; not ever. They had crossed the river and it was all dream-like but very real.

Nate stared back at her, "we need to shift now" he said

Erlina and Adam were already cats; a white and brown eared tabby and a shaggy dark haired tabby. they were laying in the sun just staring at each other, not touching, but in one little bubble tht nothing could burst.

"cats are best" Nate said, not taking his eyes off her.

they started in the woods. maneuvering through low branches and pickers. a human could get through, but not easily. it was like a maze, a labrynth that only these brothers knew the way through. It was amazing and beautiful and mysterious, but Erlina barely noticed. All she could think about was Adam. They had just met! but she was in love, she knew it.

V shifted mid-stride as always. She was a white cat with a brown spot on her paws. Her eyes were a soft shade of violet, not like before. She smiled and followed still in a daze.

they were at the tiny cottage now. inside in the fron from was ther living room, but instead of a couch and tv, there was two cots

Erlina and Adam walked down the hall.

when they were gone Nate said "these are mine and Tylers, we gave Adam the other room because he's been like the father round here since our dd died. well lets go find them."

everyone was in the too small bedroom where their mother was.

V looked over their mother. She was wrapped in blankets. "Can I see the medicine?" she said holding out her hand.

tyler handed her the bag

She shuffled through it looking for the first medication. She found it and took it out preparing to give their mother it. She gave it to their mother and color slowly came to her cheeks. "Give this to her 3 hours from now, then give her this again 2 hours from then for about 7 days them I'll check again." she said handing back the bag.

Just then Erlina sensed something "Adam," she said "Everyone, she's going to be fine. The medicine is going to work!" she was so excited for the Sloans.

Adam was speechless, he had just met these people and he was in love with one of them, and the other had saved his mother's life.

Nate was amazed, his mother would be okay! He looked at V with such a passionate look, it would have set the forest on fire.

Tyler was crying, he knew that she would be okay. Ever since their father had died, he wasn't sure how long they would have a mother. Now, when they thought she was gone, she was going to be fine. It was almost too good to be true!

V hugged Nate, she was so happy to help them and to save their mother. She stayed in his arms watching the others.

Erlina never wanted to leave the crowded, sickly smelling room; not as long as Adam was with her. She knew that they had to though, and she sighed a quiet sigh of distress. Soon V would get her mentle message about the time and the far distance they currently were stantioned in.

V looked at Erlina, her message had arrived. She simply nodded. "Lets let her rest." she said taking a step towards the door of the little room but still staying within reaching distance of Nate.

Everyone shuffled out of the room. Tyler dimmed the lights and closed the door. In the living room everthing was pretty quiet. then Adam said "will you two come back tomorrow, your probobly eager to get home. It's getting, no scratch that, it is late." he looked at Erlina with hope in his eyes, Tyler chuckled softly.. "we'd be happy to come, right V?" Erlina said calmly, secretly saying Adam, i'll come no matter what Nate looked at V and said "will you?"
