Clouds


All clouds are beautiful
“How?” you may ask
“They are only water floating in the sky”
If you look at it that way
Maybe they are not so stunning
But what if you look in a different perspective?

Cirrus clouds are the highest of them all
They are wispy and white
Like crisp laundry flowing in the wind
Like the tail of a white mare
Like flowing silk
They signify the end of a storm

Cumulus clouds are big and puffy
They are the king of all clouds
Like a heap of whipped cream
Like a vanilla soufflé
Like a snowball ready to fight
They signify good weather and fun

Stratus clouds lay close to the ground
They are grey but lovely
Like a vast ocean in the sky
Like a grey blanket over the earth
Like ribbons flowing throughout the country
They signify a cloudy day

You may not think that clouds are gorgeous, but
Clouds amaze me
because they can be whatever
they want to be
Whenever they want to be it
